Santi Cazorla refuses to completely rule out Arsenal exit as Atletico Madrid talk grows

with the way things are going I doubt if he will still remain in Arsenal next season.


Santi Cazorla says it is ‘very unlikely’ he will be leaving Arsenal this summer, although the Spaniard refused to completely rule out a move to Atletico Madrid.

Cazorla was one of the Premier League’s star performers last season, following his arrival at the Emirates from Malaga 12 months ago and his contribution to the Gunners’ fourth-place finish has not gone unnoticed elsewhere.

The Spanish international hit 12 goals for Arsene Wenger’s side last season and set up many more, leading to the 28-year-old being linked with a return to his home country, where Atletico Madrid are thought to be keen on his signature.

And while Cazorla says he is happy with life in north London, he has yet to completely rule out an early departure from the Emirates.
