Wenger says Rooney at Chelsea changes nothing

After finishing fourth in the
Premier League last season,
Arsenal manager Arsene
Wenger insists that his job
will not be made any easier or
harder if want-away Manchester United forward
Wayne Rooney transfers to
title rivals Chelsea. The French manager expressed
his opinion of the England
international claiming that
any title rival, specifically
Chelsea, that signs Rooney
will make Arsenal’s competition even fiercer but
will also weaken the club that
won the title last year. “With Rooney, [Chelsea] will
be even more dangerous for
sure. I rate Rooney highly and
unfortunately we fight with
Manchester United and
Chelsea,” Wenger said, according to Goal.com. “So, on one front, if he goes
then Manchester United will be
weaker, that’s quite good for
us. But if he changes to Chelsea
then they will be stronger –
