Paris Saint-Germain remain firm over Edinson Cavani amid links to Chelsea and Manchester United

Chelsea and Manchester United face a huge summer battle if they are to convince Paris Saint-Germain to part with Edinson Cavani, with the newly-crowned French champions digging their heels in over the striker’s future at the club.

Cavani has been linked with a move away from the Parc des Princes despite only joining last summer and Premier League duo Manchester United and Chelsea are both reported to be keen on the 27-year-old.

But PSG chief Nasser al-Khelaifi has told any interested parties they can forget making any advances.
